point2point links are fixed gain, analogue signal transmission systems – solving electrical interference and signal attenuation problems in signal monitoring and distribution. Depending on frequency range, point2point links use either intensity or 14-bit digital modulation to convert analogue signals for transmission over fibre.

Baluns and Transformers

PPM Test supplies high voltage, wide-band baluns manufactured by Prodyn. These high frequency baluns are designed to convert the differential outputs from free-field sensors to a single ended 50 Ω output for capture on a recording or measuring device.
